Creating and Managing Pages
Pages are a fundamental part of your website, allowing you to present content beyond blog posts and recipes. They can include information about your services, contact details, or any other content you wish to highlight. This guide will help you create, customize, and manage pages effectively.
Understanding Page Structure
Each page consists of three main sections:
Additionally, pages can be nested under parent pages, enabling you to create a hierarchical structure for your site.
Step 1: Setting Up the Hero Section
What Is a Hero?
The Hero section is the prominent area at the top of a page. It often features a large image, a headline, and a call to action. This section is crucial for capturing your visitors' attention and conveying your key message.
Hero Types
You can choose from four Hero types, each offering a different level of visual impact:
-
High Impact
- Description: Features a large background image or video with overlaid text.
- Use When: You want to make a strong visual statement, such as on a homepage or a major landing page.
- Image Upload: Requires a high-quality image or video.
-
Medium Impact
- Description: Includes a smaller image alongside your headline and description.
- Use When: You want a balance between visuals and immediate content access.
- Image Upload: Requires an image, but it occupies less screen space.
-
Low Impact
- Description: Focuses more on text with minimal or no imagery.
- Use When: Content is the priority, and you prefer a simple header.
